Bringing them out somewhat more intentionally in the last two episodes of this year, where Rick ensured with Morty at 'Close Rick-Counters of this Rick Kind', then with the two of his grandkids at 'Ricksy Business'. Here is the part where I attempt for you guys to see this series when you have not already. It is terrific. It is smart. And it will, sometimes, completely f*** with your head. It has been some time as an animated show really entertained just like that one has - not forfeiting comedy for strangeness, but incorporating them together flawlessly. The first season has 11 episodes and that I will discuss every one of its episodes soon, but I will comment upon every one of its characters and the general narrative and technical facets. I enjoy Morty and those two have a fascinating, certainly original connection unlike any other. He's to me too aggressive with his comedy, overly rude and just plain unlikable for the vast majority of the episodes. Both have an interesting dynamic, but it hurts he's this unlikable because it finally renders the whole series annoying in ways. In terms of the Smiths, I enjoyed them more in reality. Summer is a standard, forgettable teenage girl, however, Beth is very memorable and incredibly funny. Her horse builder profession is intriguing and played for laughs very well. Jerry is the standout nature of this series in my novel as his insecurities make him realistic and I truly enjoyed his connection with everybody else, especially Beth. The series has such a primitive, average and ultimately unmemorable cartoon. Nevertheless, the sound design and score are all great with all the opening and closing theme being very atmospheric and memorable. The storyline is strong and at times even first. I enjoy its science fiction components quite a little, but in my own view it's so-so as a humor. Occasionally it can be very funny, but it's chiefly amusing with Beth and Jerry since Rick is simply too annoying with his driven, immature comedy. The series certainly tries a lot to be hip, trendy and mature it contributes to a clear lack of assurance and confidence. Pilot is a strong first installment and it will introduce you to its personalities in a fantastic manner and the story is great, but it is not especially memorable in the long term. Lawnmower Dog is excellent and is really among the very best, if not the very finest, episodes of this season. The fantasy subplot with Rick and Morty is well recognized and occasionally even creative and funny, but it's the opposite subplot with puppies getting clever that's the highlight because it absolutely comments about the complex history between dogs and humans as well as the ethical ramifications of these connections. Anatomy Park is just another very powerful episode with Jerry being really nice and that the duo's journey to your body is recognizable, but done very well and in a fun way. Again contains exceptional Jerry, but the whole narrative, though strong, is at the end too typical. Meeseeks and Destroy is quite good with all the titular animals being a great deal of fun and very memorable, but it was interesting viewing Morty wonder his part from the duo's experiences too. Rick Potion #9 is quite predictable and unoriginal in its own narrative, but it succeeds in these tiny moments with Jerry again stealing the show completely. Raising Gazorpazorp is really rather smart and honest in its own parenting subject and concept, but in addition, it includes a very great, if again average, subplot with Rick and Summer and it was interesting seeing both have an experience for a shift. Rixty Minutes finished in such a sweet, decent spectacle for Beth and Jerry, but the whole alien TV commercial narrative, though unique, was finally overplayed and it became really insistent. One thing Ricked This Way Comes has its moments, but is unquestionably among the weakest and strangest episodes up to now. Close Rick-counters of this Rick Kind is too action-oriented, however, it includes an extremely nice and complicated examination of the association between the two protagonists. Ricksy Business is quite gratifying in its funny, heartwarming finish and though it was forced in the majority of its own jokes, the incident still functioned with its intriguing premise and a brilliant, humorous subplot with Jerry and Beth. In the long run, the first period of Rick and Morty is rather strong, but maybe not as good as critics make it out to be. Jerry is great along with the duo is intriguing, but Rick stays bothersome and the comedy is mostly too pressured. However, its science fiction stories were largely memorable and even exceptional it's definitely worth a watch. |

After making the fans wait and wait (and wait), Adult Swim officially renewed cult adult animation Rick and Morty on May 10.
And we didn't just get a season four renewal of around 10 or so episodes, but a whopping 70-episode renewal that will see the show past the 100-episode mark. It's obviously exciting news for fans, but we do have some reservations, which we've already outlined.
So while we wait for the episodes to drop, here's everything we know so far about season four of Rick and Morty.. and potentially beyond.
Rick and Morty season 4 episodes: How many can we expect?
While the first season had 11 episodes, season two and three had 10 episodes each, so that's a fair shout for season four, although co-creator Dan Harmon has spoken about wanting to do longer seasons before.
'I would like to think I've learned enough from my mistakes in season three that we could definitely do 14 now, but then I have to say, 'Yeah but you're the guy who says we can do 14 who turned out to be wrong so we're not listening to you now',' he told EW.
'The nice healthy way to approach this is I want to prove it with the first 10 of season four – prove it to ourselves, to production, to the network – that it's so easy that we'll earn additional episodes.'

Rick and Morty season 4 release date: When will it arrive?
We have a release date! Adult Swim in the US has confirmed that the new series will be launching in November 2019.
We had previously been warned since the post-credits scene on the season three finale – by Mr Poopybutthole himself – not to expect season four for 'a really long time'.
Before the renewal, writer and producer Ryan Ridley outlined that we shouldn't expect new episodes anytime in 2018. 'I know how long this show takes to write, let alone animate. I'd be surprised if there was a fourth season on the air anytime sooner than 2019.. late 2019,' he revealed.
A two-year wait is nothing new for Rick and Morty fans given the gaps between the previous seasons, so 2019 was always the earliest we could expect season four.
Writing on new episodes got underway as of June 2018, with Roiland promising no more long gaps, or 'chasms in between seasons' anymore.

Rick and Morty season 4 cast: Who's coming back?
We can't imagine it'll be anyone else than Roiland voicing Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith, Chris Parnell as Morty's father Jerry, Spencer Grammer as Morty's sister Summer and Sarah Chalke as Rick's daughter Beth in the new episodes, as they've been doing it since the start.
It remains to be seen if the new episodes will require Roiland to get drunk for real to record an episode.
Outside of the core cast, expect season four to continue with the show's use of guest stars for other characters. Season three saw the likes of Nathan Fillion, Susan Sarandon, Christian Slater, Lance Reddick and Tony Hale pop up in various roles.
Rick and Morty season 4 teaser: Any new footage yet?
We haven't got any official season four footage since the renewal, but we have been treated to mini-episodes since season three ended, starting with the show's take on Up's opening montage with Mr Poopybutthole.
There's also been an Australian re-imagining of the show from YouTube series Darren and Damo's creator Michael Cusack which sees Rick force Morty into joining him on an eight-hour road trip to Bendigo to get a 'green cube'.
Oh, and they also seemed to pop up in My Little Pony of all places.

This is by Community’s Dan Harmon and the guy who does the voice for Lemongrab in Adventure Time. He voices the two main characters and while occasionally gets pretty grating, it’s nowhere as UNACCEPTABLE as Lemongrab’s voice.
I started out not really liking this show, then hating it, then I saw episode 6 while on LSD and decided I love it. If you’re not sure, check out episode 6 first (eg Rick and Morty S01E06 HDTV x264-2HD [eztv]) and see what you think – it’s a love or hate show and I think that’s a particularly love/hate episode (I also love that the events that happen are referred to in later episodes).
Audio and video quality varies, and I don’t think there’s even a full Season 1 torrent yet, just eps 1-6 and then 7-11 separately. The hi def ones look nice.
